Baltimore Medical System (BMS) is excited to announce our recent move to Yard 56. Our administrative offices have shifted, and we’ve proudly opened a brand-new health center and pharmacy at this prime location.
Yard 56, situated on the former Porcelain Enamel Manufacturing site, which proudly served Baltimore for over a century until its closure in 2006, is now the heart of a vibrant urban development. MCB Real Estate took over this iconic site in 2014, transforming it into a thriving hub, conveniently located just across from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
At Yard 56, you’ll find a wide range of amenities, including retail outlets, office spaces, a grocery store, and more, all catering to the needs of the Greektown community in East Baltimore. We’re excited to be a part of this dynamic neighborhood, and we look forward to providing you with exceptional healthcare services in our new location.

Current Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Patients
On May 22, 2023, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center’s (JHBMC) OB/GYN and pediatrics clinics will move to BMS at Yard 56. For patients currently seen at JHBMC in OB/GYN and pediatrics, you will receive the same trusted pediatric care and women’s health services. Your providers and staff will stay the same.
BMS at Yard 56 will offer many services to support mothers and their children. This includes internal medicine, dental services, behavioral health, health education, and in-person language interpretation. The new site will also have its own BMS pharmacy. Low-cost drug options and drug delivery services will be available.
