Anna Coates

Baltimore Medical Systems patient Anna Coates.

At the young age of 42, Anna Coates had three heart attacks. To get well, she needed coordinated healthcare from a team of doctors near her house who could see her regularly. She began going to Baltimore Medical System’s Middlesex center. She is seen by Dr. Dahlia Reid.

“From the first time I called to make an appointment, I felt like they wanted to help me,” Anna says. “When you walk in, they always greet you, and you get to know everyone there. They really are a team.” Anna says the staff does more than treat her heart condition. The staff helps her to stay on track with her diet. They also help her get her prescriptions refilled. And they talk to her about getting enough rest and lowering her stress.

Anna has experienced three smaller heart attacks in the past year. But she is hopeful. She knows Dr. Reid will continue to help her live as long as she can so she can be there for her five children. “I love Dr. Reid. She is patient, empathetic and shows concern for me. She is always looking out for me, and I would never go anywhere else,” Anna says.
