Arlene Tyler, MD, serves as Interim Chief Medical Officer of Baltimore Medical System, providing executive leadership for the organization’s clinical strategy, quality of care, patient safety, and medical operations. In this role, she works closely with BMS leaders and clinical teams to strengthen care delivery, support providers, and ensure patients receive high-quality, accessible, and culturally responsive healthcare across the organization.

Dr. Tyler is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and earned her medical degree and completed her professional training at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her background as a pediatrician and bilingual physician informs her thoughtful, patient-centered approach to clinical leadership and her understanding of the diverse communities BMS serves.

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tyler is committed to advancing clinical excellence, promoting collaboration, and ensuring that BMS continues to meet the evolving healthcare needs of individuals and families throughout Baltimore.
