So what is a community health center, and why do they matter?

Community health centers are local clinics that provide healthcare where it’s needed most. They’re often located in neighborhoods where hospital systems are out of reach—physically or financially. These centers are staffed by skilled professionals—doctors, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and more—who build lasting relationships with the individuals and families they serve.
