Baltimore Medical System Expands Access with New Pharmacy at East Baltimore Medical Center
Baltimore Medical System (BMS) is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest pharmacy, conveniently located inside the East Baltimore Medical Center (EBMC). This expansion is part of our ongoing commitment to making healthcare more accessible, affordable, and connected for our community.
One-Stop Care, All Under One Roof
With the addition of the pharmacy at EBMC, patients now have the convenience of filling prescriptions immediately after their medical appointments—right where they receive care. This integrated approach ensures better communication between providers and pharmacists, streamlining the process and improving patient outcomes.
Supporting the Community with Trusted Services
The new pharmacy will serve both EBMC patients and community members, offering a full range of prescription services, medication counseling, and personalized support. BMS accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and continues to offer discounted medications through the 340B Drug Pricing Program for eligible patients.
Free Prescription Delivery
For those unable to pick up their medications in person, BMS provides free prescription delivery to qualifying zip codes, ensuring no patient goes without the treatment they need.
Our Commitment to You
“Opening this pharmacy allows us to meet patients where they are—literally,” said Dr. Dawn Jacobs, Vice President of Pharmacy Operations. “Our goal is to remove barriers, reduce delays in care, and continue to serve as a trusted healthcare partner in East Baltimore.”
